[Award] Professor Taisuke Boku received ACSI2016 Outstanding Research Award at ACSI2016

Professor Taisuke Boku received ACSI2016 Outstanding Research Award at ACSI2016 (2nd Annual Meeting on Advanced Computing System and Infrastructure).

ACSI(Annual Meeting on Advanced Computing System and Infrastructure) is
a meeting to give opportunities for researchers in Japan to present their works on a wide variety of topics about advanced computing systems, practical infrastructures, and technologies for enabling them.

Prof. Boku belongs to the faculty of High Performance Computing System in CCS. ACSI2016 Outstanding Research Award was given for the paper, “A proposal of GMPI: GPU self MPI for GPU clusters”, by Mr. Yuta Kuwahara (University of Tsukuba), Dr. Toshihiro Hanawa (Collaborative fellow of CCS), and Prof. Boku.
