CCS signs collaboration agreement with KISTI

The Center for Computational Sciences (CCS), University of Tsukuba, has solidified a significant partnership with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) on January 26, 2026.

KISTI is a national research institute in Korea responsible for the country’s scientific and technical information infrastructure and supercomputing.

Since 2014, CCS has jointly organized annual in-person winter schools and research exchange workshops with KISTI, alternately held in Japan and Korea. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these activities were temporarily suspended or held online.

Building on this renewed agreement, the two institutions will further strengthen information sharing, collaborative research, and encourage academic exchange, mainly in the field of high-performance computing (HPC), and will continue to work together to advance science.
